Tip Thursday !

 

Hey Guys Its been a long time since I did a Tip Thursday so I guess Its about time!
As winter is coming around the corner and one of the worst thing for me is chapped lips so my trick for having nice soft lips is to exfoliate them regular

Most people will think that they will have to go out and buy an expensive lip scrub like the Lush Lip Scrubs which I will admit are yummy as well as a great product

 

 

However you probably have all you need in your house already all you need is Vaseline and sugar

 

What I normally do is to dip my finger in my pot of Vaseline  and dip it in the sugar that I have pour on to a little dish and rub all over my lips, I give it a good scrub  then wipe it off  and apply a lip balm

Keeping your lips moisturised is the key then I make sure to apply a generous amount before I go to bed.

Hopefully you will wake up with beautiful soft lips!

MUA Haul!

Hi Guys today I set sail for Wexford for two reasons Superdrug and New look! I absolutely love Superdrug find it to be so much cheaper than boots and just better selection too my favourite brand in Superdrug is MUA for the price point and the make up its self love there lipsticks very pigmented and feel great on so today when I was in there I picked up a few things

I got the eyeshadow palette in Starry Night this is a beautiful palette I always seem to go for neutral colours these days but I really want to get back into changing up my look and these colours are great for that

                                                  (sorry its blurry my camera is on the way out! )

Next I picked up the MUA blush in the shade 3, a Black nail polish in the shade 2 and a white eye liner in the colour Snow White.
And finally I picked up 4 Lipsticks in the shades 7,3,13&1

Are CC Creams the new BB Creams?

Facebook Freebies

Hi Guys today I wanted to share with you some of my Facebook Freebie that I received today.
In my boredom I decided to brows Facebook and decided to check a few of the make-up page etc and to my surprise I found that alot of the pages that give out little samples for free, and I'm miss sample!

These are what I got the L'oreal page was very good I got three samples the L'oreal revitalift repair 10 BB, The L'oreal youth code luminize super serum, L'oreal  ever pure shampoo and conditioner
And from the Garnier page the Garnier BB cream

The L'oreal revialift repair 10 seems to be the best of the samples due to the fact that along with the samples you get a £1/€1 voucher off when you purchase the product its self which is great because I believe the full size are quiet dear at around €25 my advice if your going to get this sample and are going to purchase the full size wait till it goes on offer I know alot of super markets normally do a 33% off  and that and your voucher will save you a fortune :)

Very excited to try out all these and I shall report back!!

Time for a pedi

Hi Guys well we seems to get getting something that resembles a summer here and I guess its time to sort out our bare skin

I'm always exfoliating my skin so its not too bad however my poor feet have been very neglected as of late stuck in boots or trainers not a stitch of polish :( and as I am broke after my holiday (well I'm always broke) I decided to do a DIY pedi.
I normally do this before I go away on a sun holiday 4 simple step and I'm gonna share them with you!

Step one  
Soak your feet ; Bathe your feet in warm water and milk for ten Min's (yes I know cringe) but the lactic acid that is in milk will soften rough skin!
I then put a deep  moisturising foot cream on and leave for a few Min's

Step two
File your nail; Please be careful when doing this do file nails too close to the corners and file from the outer edges into the centre in one direction rather than going back and forth as this can weaken the nail I would normally use a glass nail file I personally think they do a better job





Step three
Base coat ; I always do this but on your feet going away on a Holiday its a must I think a base coat will always keep your polish on longer



Step four
Choose the right polish; Try to pick the right colour that will match your flip flop Sandals etc
