Yes I finally Caved 

I got my Beauty Blender 

                                                          

               

The Beauty Blender is by now a cult beauty item but if your not familiar

The beauty Blender was created by Hollywood make up artist Rea Ann Silva.

Rea created a sponge that leaves a flawless, airbrushed finish and it has become a favourite with everyone in Hollywood  from Beyonce to Oprah!

 Not to mention the countless beauty Awards that it has won.

It is completely worth the investment your make up will always look flawless 

   How I use it 

         Dampen the sponge and squeeze out.

Dot make up on my face and bounce the sponge gently onto the make up and blend it with a patting motion

Maintenance 

Wash your beauty blender with the beauty blender cleanser or with a gentle soap and warm water 

squeeze out the excess water and let it dry

Face of the Day!

Hi Guys 

I had kind of a lazy day today and felt like playing around with my new contour kit!

The products I used

-Sleek cream contour kit in light 

-W7 The cheeky trio - I mixed the bronzer and the blush

Sleek Cream contour kit light

Hi Guys 

Thanks to Kim Kardashian everyone is gone contour crazy and I have to admit I have really wanted to create that chiselled look myself  

However finding the right balance of highlighter and bronzer has never appealed to me but I seen this new palette of cream contours and decided to give it ago 

  completely confused where to start I was delighted that there was a cheat sheet included to help you on which colour goes where  

          The results

     My thoughts 
I am by no means an expert on make up however I really like the results. The pallet was very easy to apply the only negative I would say is the bronzer shades at a touch orange considering it is the light pallet 
however the highlighter shade brighten your skin beautifully 
I got this pallet in Sam McCauley Pharmacy for €13.99

Spring clean

Hi guys 

Seen as it's spring it's time to De clutter and my first task is clean out my wardrobe 

My Cardinal  rule is if I haven't wore it in the last six months it's getting thrown out 

And the thing that stops me keeping sentimental clothes is the idea that I can at any time buy new clothes! 

Some of my other rules to de clutter

# 1 I make sure I try everything on to see if the fit is still good

#2 I divide my clothes into spring / summer/ Autumn/ winter there is no point in keeping out your woolly jumpers in the middle of summer etc 

#3 NEVER keep a top ,jeans  or dress in a smaller size in the hope you will fit into it

I understand that this is what some people do to get them motivated to lose weight but it can just clutter up your wardrobe

Well we all know how stressful Christmas can be so as soon as I finish all my shopping I like to treat myself and I found an amazing cleanser that works wonders for your skin it is the Avène eau thermal foam facial cleanser. 

I know what your think foam cleanser won't that dry my skin out? But no this is such a gentle cleanser that leaves your skin feeling so soft

Nima Mit

Hi guys 

I wanted to share with you a product I found recently call the Nima Mitt

I have to say I have heard so much about the Make- up eraser but every time I tried to get my hands on it it was sold out so when I seen this I had to have it 

The Nima Mitt is from an Irish company called Nimabrush 

What is the Nima mitt 

It is an Eco-friendly make up removal mitt

Its made up of micro fibres that are woven very closely together so that when you add regular tap water to the mitt and wipe it on your face it removes all your make-up

REALLY??!!

That's all no cleansers, no soap no wipes

Just the mitt and some water

So does it work?

YES!

It removes all your make up so easily its just a dream for me. I am going non stop every day and its always so tedious to take time to go trough all the steps to take off my make up at the end of the night when I just want to collapse into a heap and fall asleep.

If I had maybe one negative thing to say is I did find it a little harder to get my eye make up off as appose to how quick and effortless it was for the rest of my face 

so Id say if you are someone who is heavy with eye make up and goes for a smokey eye, I would recommend you  use an eye make up remover it might loosen up the mascara so you aren't pulling and rubbing your eye with the mitt

 

 

Its Recommended that you wash your mitt with a bar of soap but I don't have any bars of soap  just liquid soap and it did a pretty good job!

Life Update

Hi Guys 

I haven't been blogging for a while and I really was for a heartbreaking reason 

My Father Passed Away on the 6th September 

It was sudden and we were very shocked 

we are all trying to cope best we can it is so hard  my Dad was so funny , so kind

I am completely heartbroken 

I decided to share this as tomorrow is his Birthday and he always did love all the attention on him!

Happy Birthday Daddy .... I miss and love you with each Passing day... I hope you have a big piece of cake with a big mug of tea for both of us
