A question on skin care

Hi Guys 

A question to you 

Do you guys ever use the full skin care collection that companies release together 

 I have to say I never really stick to the complete selections that are released together 

I have never had a problem with my skin I m pretty lucky that way but some times I wonder might I have a better result  from the whole collections  

What are your thoughts???

MAC MSF Soft and Gentle

Hi guys
I have to say I was totally confused yesterday thinking it was Thursday so yesterday I uploaded my tip Thursday so today I am gonna load up what I planned to upload Wednesday!!

You might have noticed in my April favourites I mentioned MAC Soft and Gentle I love this it a really beautiful highlighter a gorgeous shimmery champagne that really gives you the perfect glow

Its really smooth and creamy and is so easy to blend I use it on my cheekbones and some times as a eyeshadow its gorgeous 

The texture is smooth and creamy, applies like a dream and is very easy to blend. 

It will suit most skin tones

(please forgive the spidery mascara I'm trying out a new mascara its not the best!)

Tip Thursday

Its Tip Thursday 

And my tip for you today is 

Don't forget to look after your lips in the sun!

We are all concerned about making sure we have SPF in our moisturiser,foundation ,BB cream etc but

 We tend to forget about  the skin on our lips it can be very delicate so its very important to look

 after them

I was recently looking at old photos when I was on holiday I found a picture of me when my lips got burnt which got me thinking  its something few people would think to make sure they have  SPF on their lips  

 thankfully  there are so many company's that have SPF in their lip balms  now from SPF  10 to SPF 30

Dermalogica

Hi Guys 

Today I wanted to share with you guys my favourite exfoliant which is the Dermalogica Daily  Microfoliant. I got this in a glossy box a few months ago and have loved it ever since its amazing it leave your skin so soft it doesn't feel harsh at all in fact when I used it for the first time I was convinced it would do nothing as it just felt like milky water but wow.

How it works

Dermalogica's Daily Microfoliant is a rice based powder that gently exfoliates your face. Add a penny sized amount to your hand after cleansing to activate it (with water), releasing small amounts of salicylic acid and other ingredients. This superfine rice-based powder smoothes the entire face without being abrasive like many other facial scrubs. Use it all year round to remove dullness. It is fragrance free, without artificial colours, and tightens up pores- a great base for foundation

Tip: Don't leave it in your shower because if you happen to let  water  get in the bottle it will activate and pretty much ruined the dry powder inside.

Mani Monday Isadora Sugar Crush Turqoise Crush

Hi guys 

Today I wanted to share with you another sugar crush nail polish from Isadora 

This polish are meant to look and feel like crushed sugar in your polish and this one really does feel like it the camera is after picking it up as a kind of blue colour but its more of a green  colour it has thicker chunks of glitter that pick up really in the light

April favourites

Hi Guys 

Wow another month has past crazy 

I have a few favourites from this month 

Garnier miracle skin perfector in shade light love this it lasts on me up to 7hrs which is  perfect for work in Ireland its generally around the €15 mark however they always seem to be on offer for €9.99

Maybelline the rocket volum express I ran out of my favourite mascara maybelline the falsies and heard such good thing that I had to try this its good love the brush these are usually around €11.99

Kim Kardashian True Reflection perfume love this not a typical spring fragrance but that rarely bothers me its such a warm sexy scent

Mac soft and gentle  I got this ages ago and have rediscovered it its the most gorgeous highlighter I also use it as an eyeshadow too love it

Mac Lingering eyebrow pencil  Such a handy thing to have with you I have become so lazy about doing my brows and to have a pencil to define my brows quick is brilliant

Maybelline colour tattoo  35 on and on bronze   perfect colour and so easy to apply  what more can I say!

Have to say I have been so lazy this month that my make up routine as been dialled down and I need things that are quick and easy etc and I think my favourites reflect that!

Today's Tip

Toothpaste Zaps Pimples

You've heard it before — don't pop your zits! 

 Apply a bit of toothpaste to a pimple before bed and washing it off with warm water when you wake up in the morning.  Toothpastes draws impurities out of clogged pores and dries the skin with shrinks the pimple. Opt for organic toothpastes rather than gel toothpastes which don't work as well.

Garnier Ambre Solaire BB creams

Hi Guys

As I was shopping yesterday I notice among  the sun cream there were new BB creams out made by Garnier very similar to the BB creams they already have out although I really think they are more of a facial sunscreen with a hint of colour  it does promise to

- illuminate and even skin tone

-Hydrate skin

-protect against sun - induced skin damage

-protect against anti -dark spots

(SPF 50)

(SPF 30)

  Perfect for anyone travelling they could use this as there SPF and foundation in one

What I did find strange was there was no light or medium shades just the one universal which I have to say is very dark even for me I would normally use the Granier BB cream  in light

this I cant imagine would work very well on fair skin

I did wear these and really wasn't too impressed they really didn't hold up that long as in the other BB cream would last on me up to about 6-7 hours this one maybe 2-3 hours I do know that you would normally re-apply sunscreen a lot more anyway but with something like this with colour its not the most convenient it would mean bringing a mirror with you etc

however it is a great idea and I'm sure on someone with a medium-dark skin tone
